Position Summary: Maintain Unity vehicle fleet.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Create vehicle maintenance program and ensure all trucks are serviced in a timely fashion. Keep accurate, up to date records on servicing and truck repairs. Order repair parts and servicing inventory supplies.
2. Ensure all of Unity’s fleet in inspected and licensed accordingly to Missouri states requirements.
3. Oversee and assist Manager with scheduling the heavy equipment operator’s daily priorities and tasks.
4. Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adhere to assigned schedule. – this position is not a remote or telecommute position.
5. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements including all safety guidelines.
6. Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance and paid off request.

Non-Essential Job Functions:
1. Assist Manager and other departmental personnel on project and equipment needs.
2. Keep up to date with new vehicle trends and methods of servicing.
3. Perform emergency car starts for employees during normal business hours, as requested.
4. Work emergency hours (weekends and holidays) as required for snow removal.
5. Responsible to coordinate snow removal regarding Unity’s roads and parking lots.

Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalent.

1. 7 years automotive repair experience. Or, a combination of technical training school certificate and experience to meet equivalency of 7 years.
2. Former experience directing the work of others.

Computer Skills:
• Basic end user PC experience.
• Working knowledge of keyboard/mouse and windows.

Certificates & Licenses: A/C License for handling of refrigerant and disposal, Technical training schools certificate preferred. Missouri chauffeur’s license is required.
