Position Summary: The content marketing specialist is a data-driven creative problem solver who is responsible for packaging and distributing individually empowering content to enable a rapidly growing spiritual movement to help and serve a broader audience. This highly-collaborative member of the marketing team manages the strategy and tactics of cross-channel campaigns designed to attract new audiences, convert traffic, and nurture relationships.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Identify and implement opportunities to grow our audience by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests and through creative messaging and storytelling.
2. Package existing and develop new content to drive leads, subscribers, and awareness across channels, including social media, email, print materials, audio, video, etc. with support from production team.
3. Collaborate with other members of the marketing and content teams to manage a rich content/editorial calendar and produce relevant content that attracts new traffic to our owned properties.
4. Facilitate conversations with key internal stakeholders to understand campaign goals, then design and implement digital campaigns with specific, measurable goals, in close coordination with Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy.
5. Work with the Digital Marketing Program Manager to ensure we're optimizing the digital delivery of our content to maximize lead generation and conversions, including crafting and promoting landing pages and lead generation forms that convert traffic.
6. Manage and optimize paid marketing efforts in partnership with an external vendor.
7. Work closely with Business Intelligence Strategist to measure and optimize our inbound marketing efforts with an eye toward increasing engagement and growing our audience, as well as soliciting and assessing feedback from constituents via surveys, interviews and other methodology.
8. Keep up-to-date with our audience’s preferences. Stay up-to-speed with the latest best practices in lead generation.
9. Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adhere to assigned schedule commitments.
10. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements including all safety guidelines.
11. Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance and paid time request.

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media or related field. Combination of professional years of experience and education will be considered.

Professional Experience:
2. 3-5 years year’s direct experience, preferably in an agency environment as a Content Strategist or Content Lead.
3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
4. Measurable time management and project focused skills.

Technology and Computer or Equipment Skills:
1. Proficient with Mac and Windows computer systems.
2. Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
3. Proven ability to produce compelling content for digital channels, including websites, blogs, email, and social media.
4. In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising, and content distribution and placement networks.
5. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through, demonstrated ability to solve problems, ability to meet tight deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
6. Past experience building audiences online, including placing content in external publications.
