Job Description

The National Business Development Manager is a part-time position (estimated 20-30 hours/week) with responsibilities for research and analysis projects as assigned. The Biz Dev Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales, and is charged with providing support for a national team of regional Directors of Business Development.


The National Business Development Manager will have responsibility to support Revolution Foods’ business development efforts through a myriad of functions including (but not limited to):

  • Prospecting –
    • Conduct research across the universe of leads, in alignment with channel and market goals to schedule qualified meetings for DBD including conducting pre- and post-conference outreach with targeted outreach and touch points
  • Market Research
    • Collect information about the marketplace needed to inform individual sales (e.g. upcoming RFP dates, specific platform interests/challenges, decision-makers) as well as overall strategy (e.g. perception of Rev Foods, new product requests, etc.)
  • Conferences
    • Support DBD in Brand Presence/Recognition - support Rev Foods’ goals of establishing the company as a partner and resource to leaders in school food by building short and long-term relationships by channel and region that support Rev Foods’ goals
  • Analysis
    • Running reports and analyzing Salesforce information including evaluating scope of opportunities available in region, pipeline cadence, etc.

Qualities and Qualifications

  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills and demonstrated success in working independently and/or remotely with ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success with sales and/or development including exceptional ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in person, over the phone and via email
  • Demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness, and good judgment
  • Ability to work well with people (both in person and remotely) with different personalities and work styles, both within his/her team and among different teams.
  • Entrepreneurial minded, coupled with an energetic and positive spirit, flexibility, and a sense of humor
  • Exceptionally successful at managing small details accurately and brings solid analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiarity with database systems a must.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage
  • Seeking candidates with 5-7 years of work experience.

Position will either be based in a candidate’s home office or in one of our existing Culinary Center offices around the country.
