We’re looking for a Creative Director to oversee and shepherd our brand development for Revolution Foods.   This role provides a unique opportunity for a talented creative to tell the story of the nation’s leading provider of healthy family meals. With our multi-channel approach and breadth across multiple consumer groups, meal occasions, and access channels, this role will be exciting and challenging for a big thinker who is interested in bringing one of today’s leading purpose-driven brands to life.

This role will lead the entire creative process in the evolution of the Revolution Foods brand and direct compelling and memorable design outputs to solve business needs and support brand building. The Creative Director must be a proven people leader with solid expertise in print, packaging and interactive design.  The Creative Director will oversee and execute visual brand strategy and designs for Revolution Foods’ retail CPG business and K-12 school meals business across all brand touch points including website, packaging, marketing collateral, advertising and content.  This role will manage the internal creative team, external creative agencies and freelancers.  The Creative Director is someone who thrives within a fast-paced environment, is always up for the next creative challenge, and enjoys being collaborative and hands on.


  • Partner with the VP of Marketing & Innovation and founders to drive the overall creative direction for the Revolution Foods brand. Also, develop strong relationships within Marketing and across the organization’s departments.
  • Lead creation of all online and offline design efforts (e.g. retail packaging, website experience, digital campaigns, print advertising, marketing collateral, content, etc.).
  • Manage and mentor the internal creative team.  Lead the entire creative process, from concept to QA & press checks.
  • Collaborate with external agency partners and freelancer network, managing process, work, budgets and personnel.
  • Set product and brand photography direction, and provide creative direction on all internal and external photoshoots (both still and video).
  • Direct the creative function ensuring that the team, culture, capabilities, tools and processes to support Revolution Foods’ strategic objectives and brand. Ensure the creative team operates in a highly efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Drive continual improvement of creative department’s quality, thinking and capabilities.
  • Champion innovation by introducing new ideas and inspiration to the team and vendors.
  • Manage design and photography budget.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design or Fine Arts; additional business degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of creative experience with a minimum 4+ years of managerial experience in a design or art department, and 4+ years of relevant consumer brand experience preferred. Design or brand agency experience a plus.
  • Exceptional aesthetic and intuitive understanding of design principles.
  • Knowledge of print production process and terminology required. UX/UI and responsive website .design experience a plus. Strong business acumen with the ability to link creative to revenue-driving behavior.
  • Strong project management skills within a creative environment a must. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders of various projects across the company, as well as, external collaborators/packaging innovators/print vendors/co-packers.  Ability to respond quickly to multiple projects and superb time management skills.
  • Strong communications, organizational, prioritization and presentation skills are a must. Copywriting is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign as well as standard MS Office software programs, including Powerpoint. Bonus points: experience with tools such as Wrike (project management), Dropbox, and 3D animation/rendering software.
  • Experience working in and a love for food a big plus!
  • Portfolio with work relevant samples required.
