Revolution Foods has a unique business model with a presence in schools (K-12) and in consumer packaged goods (CPG). The role of the CPG business is to expand the brand from our core strength in school meals through a broad portfolio of products helping busy families make healthy choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  These healthy family foods are in over 4,000 grocery stores across the nation, including Target and Safeway, and are now available online through Amazon.

The role:

This is an entry-level opportunity for a process driven individual to learn about the CPG industry and to grow with a fast-paced, mission-based company. 

The Operations Specialist is a systems savvy individual within the Revolution Foods Supply Chain that will assist in building the infrastructure to bring the CPG team to a new level of functionality while delivering continued customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Become familiar with current Revolution Foods supply chain operations from raw material sourcing to customer delivery
  • Evaluate situations affecting on-time and in-full delivery goals and offer support for timely resolution through tactful correspondence with both internal and external customers
  • Assist in process mapping of key business practices to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the ERP development team for solutions satisfying internal business challenges in order fulfillment
  • Manage project to develop custom ERP reporting for various departments—Sales, Operations, Accounting
  • Leverage EDI system for real-time information relative to customer ordering and evaluate use in co-manufacturing, warehouse and distribution management
  • Manages all Amazon initiatives in Vendor Central and the pick, pack and ship process ensuring product integrity through customer receipt
  • Constant evaluation of current practices for opportunities to streamline and reduce costs through process improvements
  • BA/BS required
  • 1+ years in general manufacturing (accounting, inventory control, warehouse operations, production)
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Excellent written and verbal communications to a diverse audience
  • Proven project management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, Microsoft NAV/AX preferred
  • Familiar with EDI partnerships
  • Strong analytical mind and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage many details with a high level of accuracy
  • Familiarity with Amazon’s Vendor Central is a plus
  • High proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
