Title Area Sales and Marketing Manager, CPG (Part-Time)

Be a part of our Revolution as an Area Sales and Marketing Manager supporting our marketing and sales strategies at Retail and in the Community including demos, brand events and experiential marketing promotions. The ideal candidate will embody our mission to build healthy eaters for life and also must be professional, enthusiastic, a solid team player and possess a drive for results.

Please note, this is a contract to hire position.

The Area Sales and Marketing Manager will report directly to the National Marketing Manager (NMM) who is based in Oakland, CA and perform field sales and marketing activities throughout the region.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build key relationships with local influencers, family focused groups and strategic partners throughout the market accordance to HOT (Home Office Team) direction - become the face of Revolution Foods in the local community
  • Support key retailers in your area by maintaining our brand’s store schematics
  • Sell in product lines into Independent Accounts
  • Perform a variety of marketing-related tasks in designated market, according to NMM's requests (including event coordination, in-store demos, retail activations, samplings, etc.)
  • Generate brand excitement - have a constant enthusiastic attitude and a "be the brand" mindset
  • Assist with product drops to key relationships, strategic partners, local influencers, kids sports leagues, etc.

Core Requirements

  • Resourcefulness to improvise and creatively solve problems on the fly
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., load, set up, execute and tear down promotional items
  • Proven ability to be self-driven, punctual and reliable with an innate ability to stay focused but flexible in a hectic environment
  • Proactively follow up on assigned projects
  • Flexibility to travel in and out of market and work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Be proactive and approach problems with a solution oriented mentality
  • Provide brand and product messaging to consumers and encourage trial
  • Report back to National Marketing Manager during and after each scheduled event - including onsite photos and post-event completion of recap form

Key Skills

  • Clear and concise communicator – verbal and written
  • Able to work independently, prioritize
  • Have the ability to deal with a wide range of people in large crowds
  • Able to quickly build relationships with store personnel, influencers and consumers
  • Capable computer skills -- specifically knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, Google Calendar, Google Docs, adequate email communication skills experience with internet research
