Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 In collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
 Manages project life cycle to ensure project completion in accordance with project plan, contract terms, and within approved project budget. Ensures consistency of project management through utilization of standardized planning tools and techniques.
 Plans, schedules and monitors project timelines and milestones. Creates Work Breakdown Structures and sequence tasks. Estimates durations and assigns resources. Monitors team performance to schedule, cost and allocation.
 Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path.
 Manages conformance to project contract(s) and delivery of commitments accordingly. Manages and reports project financial information.
 Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies risks and devises contingency plans.
 Oversees the creation, versioning and filing of all project documentation (notes, specifications, decisions, etc).
 Provides timely communication and status updates to project team and project stakeholders. Schedules and chairs meetings; take notes, records decisions and actions.
 Mentors and guides other project team members and contractors in order to improve overall project delivery skills within the team. Influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
 Builds, develops and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
 Conducts project post mortems and creates recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience:

 Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years relevant project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
 Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface with both technical and business team members
 Ability to prioritize a high volume of complex tasks; highly organized and detail-oriented
 Effective conflict resolution skills and an ability to work well under pressure
 Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Project or Primavera and SharePoint; experience using process modeling software
Certifications and Licenses:
PMP or PgMP certification preferred

Machines, Equipment or Software Used:
This position requires the regular use of a personal computer and general office machines. The ability to use the following software/systems is required: MS Office, Project, SharePoint, Internet Explorer and process modeling software.

Communication Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of department heads, managers, and/or customers.

Specialized Skills:
Requires basic knowledge of a professional field. Knows policies and procedures, and can recommend a course of action to others. Ability to work with several software applications and retrieve data.
