Description The Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining the database of contracts and reviewing for renewal dates. The Forecast Analyst also works with the budget manager to plan expenses based on forecasted needs and business opportunities. Other Responsibilities include: review of contracts to ensure that Holston Medical Group is meeting commitments made, ensure that the organization is receiving the performance from the contract and analyzing the impact and value of the agreement made.

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain database of contracts, detailing contract specifications, performance statements, performance requirements and financial impacts
• Manage enterprise activity based costing initiative
• Ensure that contract specifications, performance statements, performance requirements and financial information is in compliance with the contract terms
• Collaborate with the budget manager as needed to forecast business opportunities based on contracts, business research and make appropriate revisions to budget
• Collaborate with informatics to develop and analyze the impact of managed care contracts on the organization
• Analyze and graph statistical information related to contract development and financial impact analysis, provide in reports to the CFO
• Maintain a database of rate and contractual terms of managed care contracts
• Collaborate internally and externally to facilitate contract implementation
• Facilitate the implementation of managed care contracts as required
• Interface with insurance companies/third party payors on a routine basis to resolve operational or existing processes
• Perform financial analysis as needed for financing and capital needs opportunities
Requirements Education/Experience/Knowledge:
• BS in Finance, Statistics or Public Health
• Master’s in Public Health Administration preferred
• 3-5 year’s experience responsible work experience in Managed Care, Insurance or Health Administration
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize own work
