Description

Harbor is seeking a competent professional who oversees all clinical aspects of services for our Transitionto Independence Process (TIP) Residential Program.  This position facilitates the evidenced-based practice TIP (transition to Independence Process) which serves the Transitional Youth population – approximate age group of 16 – 24.  The TIP clinical manager is responsible for facilitating TIP training within Behavioral Connections and to include other partners in the community that serve this age group.  The TIP clinical manager provides clinical leadership and is an integral part of the client’s treatment team.  They will assure all treatment is being providing under the guidelines of the TIP model, coordinate treatment meetings, provide on-going training and oversight, manage outcomes, work closely with clinical and residential staff, stay in communication with other agencies and report to our local ADAMHS board as requested.   Position is full-time.

Job Duties:

  • Communicates supports and consults with supervisors, supervisees, and other team members through regular meetings and staffing.
  • Reviews and signs clinical documents as applicable and in a timely manner.
  • Maintains current, active Ohio licensure by fulfilling educational/professional requirements for renewal or application.
  • Maintains clinical case records as outline in agency policy/procedures, JCAHO, ODMH & ODADAS standards.
  • Provides appropriate community and referral contacts as required to better serve our client population.  Responsible for acquiring necessary releases, documenting phone contacts, meetings, written and recording correspondence.
  • Coordinates treatment referrals to programs within the agency framework or other agencies in which the client is being served.
  • Provides quality diagnostic assessment, case management, information and referral, consultation, crisis intervention, and urine screening services.
  • Maintains courtesy and professionalism at all times.
  • Performs, as agency needs arise, other responsibilities delegated to this position.

  • Assesses and prioritizes client’s needs, plans treatment objectives.
  • Participates in peer review and supervision as assigned.
  • Maintains minimum monthly billable units expectations as assigned
  • Completes all documentation and other paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Consults supervisor to facilitate documentation and skill development as needed.
  • Provides individual, group and family therapy, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing a comprehensive psychosocial assessment and crisis intervention consultation.
  • Provides individual, conjoint group and family therapy.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Assesses and prioritizes clients’ needs, plans treatment objectives and time frames, and completes clinical interventions both individual and group modalities.
  • Provides crisis intervention consultation for emergency and involuntary hospitalizations as needed (if qualified).  Will be required to accept assignment to at least one (1) after hours pre-screening shift per month after completion of the required training and orientation.
  • Develops comprehensive psychosocial assessment.
  • Documents progress/data in Medical Record utilizing objective, measurable methods.
  • Submits Service Activity Logs (SALS), Time Sheets, Mileage and Monthly Schedules.
  • Participates in peer review and supervision as assigned.
  • Maintains minimum monthly billable unit’s expectations.
  • Must be certified within 90 days of hire on First Aid, CPR and Non Violent Crisis Intervention.
  • Provides individual, conjoint group and family therapy.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Assesses and prioritizes clients’ needs, plans treatment objectives and time frames, and completes clinical interventions both individual and group modalities.
  • Provides crisis intervention consultation for emergency and involuntary hospitalizations as needed (if qualified).  Will be required to accept assignment to at least one (1) after hours pre-screening shift per month after completion of the required training and orientation.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field preferred. 
  • Two to three years’ clinical experience in the behavioral healthcare field required.  Experience with Transitional Youth preferred.
  • Current Ohio licensure/credentialing/dual credentials preferred.  PC, PCC, LSW, LISW, LICDC, or CCDC certification/licensure.
  • Must be certified within 90 days of hire on First Aid, CPR and Non Violent Crisis Intervention.
