  • JOB SUMMARY The Veterinary Support Team Trainer (VSTT) is responsible for ensuring clients of Clear View Veterinary Solutions (CVVS) have properly trained technical and client care staff in new and existing facilities with the guidance of the Training Manager. By teaming with the Training Manager, CVVS will achieve its goal of being the gold standard in providing specialized expertise to enhance and support the core business foundations in the veterinary industry. Success will be measured by sound processes as evidenced by team member’s success in navigating through the skill level system, higher number of licensed technicians, decreased team member turn over, and decreased time new client’s facilities become profitable. The efforts of the VSTT, working with the Training Team using CVVS’ proven business practices, will secure CVVS’ place as the premier management team to ensure the success of all our veterinary partners so they can continue to provide top quality care to their patients.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Required: Minimum of 90% or better in the ECFA technician skill level three or the equivalent • Required: Minimum of 90% or better in the ECFA policy and procedure or the equivalent Required: Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Required: ability to travel out of state for one to two weeks out of the month.  • Preferred: Ninety percent or better in the ECFA technician skill level four or five or the equivalent • Preferred: Veterinary Technician Licensure • Preferred: Two years experience in training veterinary technicians and receptionists • Preferred: Two years experience in Health Care Management • Preferred: Practice Leader skills • Preferred: Cross Trained as CCR • Assisting in new facility openings and/or traveling to out of area facilities to assist with training/staffing will be given extra consideration
  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS • Ability to effectively communicate with all skill levels, job classifications, and personality types • Ability to excel under stressful situations • Ability to be detail oriented while keeping sight of the primary objective • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to provide timely and consistent feedback • Ability to monitor and measure performance and prepare trainees with skills required to keep facilities performing within benchmarks • Effective public speaking skills • Ability to anticipate, identify, and plan for further problems and opportunities; operational weaknesses; and assist with creation, direction and implementation of solutions for correction • Skills in accomplishing tasks through formal and informal direction • Creating formal training tools including written material, video, etc • Exceedingly detail oriented •
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with all aspects of Training during EMR rollout company wide and continue in support role to all facilities• Assist with setup/opening new facilities • Develop effective teams within CVVS client’s facilities • Train Practice Leaders, technicians, CCRs, technician assistants, and office assistants • Assist Practice Leaders and new employees with completion of 90 day performance evaluations • Assure adherence of training and skill testing program with monitoring, training, and assistance to the Practice Leaders and/or Administration office • Assure adherence of policy and procedure with monitoring, training, and assistance to the Practice Leaders and/or Administration office • Assist Training Manager in updating training tools/methods/testing, as well as development of new training tools • Continuing education for staff including on-site lectures, off-site lectures, appropriate literature, audio/video, and conference calls • Research and development of new and updated training tools and skill testing for facility equipment, procedures, and training media • Extensive travel required • Provide coverage in understaffed facilities when needed • Provide assistance with special projects as they occur
