Summary of Position

The Manager, Admissions Staff role is dynamic, versatile and strategic. Broadly, you will oversee a team of 15+ Admissions Coordinators whose job is to move interested students through the enrollment funnel from lead to finishing their application to study abroad with CIEE. Day-to-day work will entail people and lead management as well as strategic problem solving in both areas. Ultimately, success will be measured in the ability to increase quality lead and application conversion rates while adding professional growth for your staff. The Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and Lead Management.

 

In this role, the Manager, Admissions Staff:

  • Increase quality leads and drive application conversion
  • Act as a coach, mentor and manager to entry level Admission Coordinator staff
  • Monitor key data points and make strategic recommendations for improvement or other potential lead generation/application conversion ideas
  • Call coach, assess and grade the Admission Coordinator team on call metrics
  • Work to ideate and implement targeted call, email, text and other marketing campaigns
  • Deliver on strategic priorities as directed by the Global Enrollment Management Team
  • Mentor young professionals to give them the tools to work in a fast-paced environment

Use Salesforce and Excel, DOMO, Marketo and other platforms to enhance workflow

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of and technical expertise regarding sales strategies and data reporting
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Excel (required)
  • Knowledge of DOMO, Marketo, Access, SQL (preferred)
  • Previous team or call center management preferred (2+ years, ideally)
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and work independently, or as part of a project team, to complete multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle all activities and highly confidential information with patience, discretion, tact and a keen eye for detail while working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
  • Ability to identify potential process and workflow improvements
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications and equipment
  • Ability to train staff on best practices of enrollment and sales management in admissions systems
  • Strong communications skills and ability to train and make effective presentations
  • Skilled in handling stressful situations and resolving conflict
  • Talent for organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects in fast-paced environment, including excellent follow-up
  • High level of enthusiasm, energy, and flexibility
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Study abroad or overseas experience preferred
  • Other duties as required
