Description The Public Library Association (PLA), a division of the American Library Association, is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide administrative support for research, advocacy, policy and evaluation efforts. This grant-funded position will provide support for the Project Manager of Impact & Advocacy and the Deputy Director of Policy and staff projects involving the Measurement, Evaluation and Assessment and Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships Committees.

Reporting to the Project Manager of Impact & Advocacy and working closely with the PLA staff team, the position is responsible for supporting:

• impact and evaluation efforts, including but not limited to administrative oversight of vendor work for a variety of projects, including its outcome measurement project, Project Outcome
• webinar coordination
• support outreach and engagement with the Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships Committee and Measurement and Evaluation Committee
• logging and tracking of PLA partnership opportunities
• writing and editing a range of materials, including social media
• and additional administrative duties as assigned.

Starting salary range from the mid-30s; negotiable based on experience. ALA has an excellent benefit package that includes medical, dental, generous paid vacation and a retirement annuity.

Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a non-profit, association or agency setting. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Basic computer competency in Microsoft products required. Detail-oriented, deadline driven, ability to work independently juggle multiple priorities and projects seamlessly. Strong customer service skills and attitude.
